The Abusive Mr. Chudzinski

The following is a full record of all the emails Mr. Chudzinski has sent me. Curiously, he seemed to want this. In one of his more recent emails(after a direct physical threat) he said, "Make sure you post exactly what you mean by my abusive e-mails." Well, sure. All emails are in original, unedited format, pasted straight from the emails. Warning: some of the language is rather vulgar.

Oh, and since this whole thing started, I've emailed the quattro list asking to hear about cases where people have recieved nasty emails from Tom. In no particular order(edited slightly to fit in a list format, no words changed etc):

Email #1: I don't know how to tighten a bolt(it is fairly agreed upon by most 200q20v and S6 owners that the oil plug can, even when tightened to proper spec, become extremely difficult to remove.) Tom's reply is after the "______"

However, I agree..they can get royally stuck in there. I once had to
use a 3 foot breaker bar to get mine loose. I promptly smashed my
knuckles into the driveway when it gave. Owwwww.

Anyway, the Fumoto valve is leaking around the threads...(sigh)...

Using a new gasket each time, using the proper size/type wrench, and,
learning how to properly tighten a bolt will solve this problem. That's
what makes sense!

Enjoy your cars!

My bet, its because you don't have a clue what you are doing!

The Big Baby is overdue for a coolant change, and with winter
approaching, figured now was the time to do it. I also noticed one
day that the gurgling noise coming from the engine has returned.
Grrrr.

Well, I'm wandering around the net using Google, checking into Evans
yet again, but everything points to the stuff being just too thick.
S-cars can't use the stuff at all, supposedly the pre-C4 cars have
big enough passageways in the radiator. Still, it's not
confidence-inspiring that Evans recommends new radiators+pumps with
the NPG. Ah, no.

Well, lo and behold, Evans has come out with a new version, NPG+.
_________________________________________________________

Here we go again. What's wrong with the OEM coolant specified by the
factory? In a properly maintained Audi cooling system, it works without
problems
and its cheaper than Evans coolant. (by the way, the OEM coolant is
flammable too!)

Do you really think that the Audi factory engineers read "advertising data"
to get their information (like you do) before they write specifications
which
will be used to build 100,000's if not 1,000,000's of cars?

They don't. They don't specify Evans coolant for a damn good reason(s).
If you use it, you'll find out why.

Tom Chudzinski

Audi is in COMPLETE disagreement with you. Eric Fletcher warned you, Marc
Swanson gave you a good recommendation, now I'm warning you. What does it
take to get through your thick skull? Jeeeze.

Write me back after you have successfully made the coolant conversion and
driven about 50,000 trouble free miles. Other than that, don't bother!

Email #4: I have "so many problems with my cars"(I own one), he spells my name wrong, and apparently, "23" equals "kid"(last time I checked, 23=old enough to drive, pay taxes, get drafted, etc), I "run a website"(I run the 200q20v mailing list, not a website) and the langauge starts.

Apparently, my posts are too long for our new self-appointed Content
Master.  Can't complain, he's immensely qualified for the job;
charming personality, humble, polite, and a degree in diplomacy, too.
He always keeps his messages short, letting us know how long-winded
we are, -never- quotes entire message bodies when he does so,
because, after all, he's concerned about message length.

I just -love- being insulted(and instructed on what is appropriate
content) on the very list I've run for, oh, 3-4 years now, not to
mention having my polite requests to change his tone mocked.

Oh, and by the way, I have spotted, since I bought my car, a total of
about 4 200q20vs(not counting ones at meets):

-black 200q20v sedan in Boston, mass pike, getting off at the newton
ramp, westbound
-pearl 200q20v wagon, excellent shape, eastbound, pike, around the
weston SP barracks. Waved. Owner was too busy talking on phone and
looking cool.
-Tom's Silver Ghost. Spotted on the way home from Mt Washington this
year, headed northbound on 93. 160mph differential didn't allow time
for a wave :-) Followed up with an email to him, he never noticed
us(jeez, some Audi guy, not seeing a 200q20v, 5kcstqa, TT roadster,
etc all in caravan, bah)
-the most interesting "spot" was in traffic by the Alst/Cambr. exit,
when I spotted a fellow lister. This was discovered during an
inter-car conversation while rolling in heavy traffic..."hey, nice
200q20v!" "thanks, the same!" "I run a list for owners of these
cars." "Yeah, I know, I'm on it!" :-)

All were in perfect running condition to my knowledge, and needed no
roadside assistance(besides, I'm a gentleman, I only stop to help
ladies.)

Brent: Pull you head out of your ass. Your problem is that you think you
know
something about cars and Audis. (you don't) That's why you have so many
problems with your cars that you can't fix.

Those of us who know a little about cars aren't impressed in the least by
little prick kids like you. (even if you run a website)

Go ahead, say more idiotic shit. That won't help you! It will make you
look like
a bigger idiot, though!

My suggestion to you, shut your fucking mouth, start listening and learning!

Tom Chudzinski

Email #5: I "go for idiotic marketing shit." Notice he ignores a pretty clear warning to not email me again.

I don't ask any questions, but I can fix my cars!

Email #6: he graduates to physical threats of violence(pretty funny, since the guy lives in San Diego according to information pulled from the headers of his emails; San Diego is clear across the country.) This one came out about 34 minutes after I emailed the list asking others who had been on the recieving end of his lashings to drop me a line.
