New York City

These are the Twin Towers, which used to be located Downtown before 9/11. Now this picture is the only thing to remind me what used to stand there.

This is the crossway that used to link 1 World Trade Center with 7 World Trade Center. Since 9/11, it no longer exists.

This is the place to be to watch chess being played, or even to join in for a game yourself. These tables are set up in Downtown somewhere (I forgot the exact cross streets).

This is a nighttime view of the city from the top of the World Trade Center. Though it's blurry, it's still a breath-taking view.

This is the Arc in Washington Square Park. The park is on the campus of New York University, where I went to school. It's a cool place to sit and read inbetween classes.

This is the Jacob Javits Convention Center. It's a historical building, which usually houses the New York International Auto Show, The Internet Expo, as well as other trade shows.

This is one part of NYC's famous Times Square. This is the time when the British Airways model airplane was being put on top of Hanson's Brewery.

This is a horse and carriage ride that you can get for $10 per person in the Central Park area.

During the holidays, stores like to dress up their windows with elaborate displays. This is Bloomingdale's Christmas window (of 1996). The buildings were all made of candy.

Queens

It's the Flushing library in Queens. I thought the architecture is nice, so that's why I decided to include a picture of it.

This is the subway station I come out of when I'm back in my neighborhood. It's not the fastest, but still gets me to work or elsewhere.

This is the big Buddha sculpture at the Chuang Yuan Monastery in Carmel, New York. The place has a burial ground where your loved ones can be put.
