Greebings
I don’t know if this subject’s ever been broached around here so I’ll have a go at it.

Anybody innerested in making a compilation of Us singing Dylan?
I’m reasonably certain quite a few of us pick up a guitar & play, and that we range from the Rank Amateur to the SemiPro thru even a few professional players.
The idea being for each of us to record ourselves & then put it all together in a cooperative venture… each of us getting a copy for private consumption (who else wd want one?).
There would, of course, be questions of logistics, but they could be worked out.
For anyone who might hesitate thinking that they’re inadequate, I can guarantee that I’ll win the prize for most inadequate. I’ve already got it in the can (a painful rendering of “Drifter’s Escape). Seriously, I’m just an average fellow: on a good day I can carry a tune; on an even better day I can strum a simple chord and get to the next one in time. I still think this’d be “kewl”.
Anybody game?

Bob Fass: You know, Big Bill Broonzy said it’s all folk music, because he never heard a horse sing it.
Bob Dylan: Yah, Big Bill Broonzy said that!
Look, OK, mebbe this wasn’t totally coherent… can only blame muh Granma’s herbal remedy on that.
