One time ago a crazy dream came to me. I dreamt we could wrest our lives back from the tentacles of a profitdriven entertainment industry & make our own amusement by recording ourselves humming & snorting the works of Bob Dylan. Private Edition. No money changing hands. We done it, & we done good. No bankrupt rock critic nor pocketwarmer politician will have the sense to recognise this effort as seminal in the return-to-roots digital folk music era. If the means to play ’em still exist, these discs will be regarded as the 78-rpm anthology of poplore they are by our children’s children.
