Schober Organ Notes No. 43
OVERTURE
Following is a message from Jack Gildar:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
IF YOU HAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS WE HAVE GOOD NEWS & BAD NEWS
The GOOD NEWS is that you can now get the information in Schober Orphans
"Organ Notes" without donating for it, saving Fred Henn, and a few other
folks, some work, saving paper, as well as your stamps. The BAD NEWS is
that you will not see the splendid work of our formatter Bill Kohrumel:
varying fonts, the masthead, curlicues, and all that good stuff. And you
will have to print it out if you want a paper copy. You'll get (in the
words of the late Det. Joe Friday, [Jack Webb] on the TV program "Dragnet")
"the facts, just the facts, Ma'am." Always in the same boring font, and
worse, since you can not transmit graphics in the text of an Email, any
schematics, pictures, etc. would have to be transmitted to you as an attachment
that you would download, and some Email programs/services (most notably
Juno) do not have the capability to download attachments. We may be able
to work out a way to handle those situations, on an individual basis. If
nothing else, we can return to the old "snail mail for stamps" method to
get you those documents, if you want them. So if this sounds like it would
fufill your needs, send an Email to: Jack Gildar TXHJ90A@prodigy.com or
JDgildar@aol.com and let us know that you want to try it that way. IT'S
FREE! FREE, I TELL YOU, TOTALLY FREE!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
End of Jack's message ... and beginning of my message:
If you opt for the above, and if, per chance (for whatever reason),
you don't receive your issue, let me know ... and I'll be happy to send
you a "printed" copy. Your cost: 1 SASE. (Your editor).
