Dear Mr. Trudell

Back in September, I wrote to you the following letter:

"I presented a subscription gift of the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs to The Greenburgh Public Library. The magazine was indeed put on display, but recently I discovered that the latest issue of this magazine was missing. When I inquired, I was surprised to know that the subscription was cancelled. I was even more surprised by the reason given to me by the person in charge of the periodicals. Her answer was: 'I don't know.' As the director of the library, I hope you can give me a positive answer. Thank you."

Since my letter remained unanswered, it is still mystery to me why the Library cancelled a subscription it is not paying for. I would appreciate if you could provide me with an answer.
