I apologize for the delay in responding to your letter regarding a gift subscription to the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs.

The delay was caused, in part, by wanting to research the issue and giving it fair deliberation.

Regretfully for you, I share Mr. Trudell's observations articulated in his letter to you of November 17, 1992. We simply have no room for additional magazines. In fact, we are planning to downsize our collection and will focus on items that are heavily requested. Have you offered a subscription to Westchester Community College Learning Resource Center?

We do have a gift box for donated extra magazines, and I have no objection to your distributing an issue in this manner.
