So you finally finished the manuscript!  Congratulations!  Or maybe you are about to and want to start making some preliminary contacts.  Here are some sources on the web that may help you.  It's only a partial list, but I didn't want to sit on it any longer.  You can see where I'm going with this...I have a very long text file that is just not yet coded.  If you want a copy of my text file, drop me a note.  If you want to submit a name, please do.  Good luck with your publishing!

Description:
A standard submission should include an unbound manuscript in hard copy form or a 3.5 diskette formatted to either DOS or MAC.  If a hard copy, it should be a clean copy, with no hand- written corrections.  Professional submissions, which we use to send to publishers, should consist of a manuscript in a basic font (12 point size; either Courier or Helvetica)with approxi- mately 250 words per page, maximum.  Remember not to bind the
manuscript (no covers, no binders); it should be in loose form with a rubber band.  Please include an author's bio, if you have one, as well as a brief synopsis, no longer than 2 pages.  Send your manuscript in, along with an appropriately sized S.A.S.E. (self-addressed, stamped envelope) in order for your ms to be returned to you.  Or, send a disposable copy to be confidentially recycled (with permission in writing in your cover letter).  If you send a diskette, please send adequate postage for its return, if necessary.  Do not send checks or money orders.  If an international shipment, send IRCıs in the appropriate amount, or a prepaid Federal Express International Shipper Label.  We do not have a packaging department, so you must include an actual ``bubble" envelope or box for hard copy submissions.  Turnaround time is two weeks from the date which your manuscript is received.  If you wish to confirm receipt of your work, do not call the office.  Due to the volume of mail our agency receives, this procedure is prohibitive. Instead, please include a self- addressed, stamped postcard to be returned to you.
